Spiritual Dryness in Pastoral Leaders
Spiritual Disciplines are more than ancient practices of yesteryear. Spiritual disciplines help Pastors and Church leaders remain connected to God and His Holy Spirit. Yet, many Pastoral leaders find themselves too busy or too distracted to regularly practice spiritual disciplines.
My Doctoral studies will look at Spiritual Dryness in Pastoral Leaders and how practicing spiritual disciplines of silence and solitude can help one manage episodes of spiritual dryness.

God’s Timing Vs Our Timing

God’s Timing vs. Our Timeline – Trusting in Divine Delay
We all have our ideal timeline—milestones we expect to reach by a certain age or season of life. But often, God’s timeline looks very different.
There have been moments when I felt ready to move forward, only to be met with closed doors and silence. Looking back, I now see how God was working in the waiting—shaping my character, preparing the path, and aligning circumstances beyond my view.
Trusting in divine delay isn’t easy. But over time, I’ve learned that God’s timing is never late—it’s purposeful. The waiting seasons teach us patience, deepen our dependence on Him, and ultimately lead us to a better outcome than we imagined.
If you’re in a holding pattern today, take heart, God is still at work.
