Herman Baxter Sr., affectionately known as “Bax,” is a distinguished ordained minister with a heartfelt commitment to nurturing spiritual leaders. Born and raised in Trenton, N.J., he proudly served as a Major in the United States Air Force, dedicating 26 years to his country as a Munitions and Missile Maintenance Officer. In 2017, Herman earned his ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary, where he was recognized in Who’s Who and awarded the prestigious H.A. Ironside Expository Preaching Award. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree, he has also contributed as a Leadership Fellow at the Dr. Howard Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership and served as Associate Director of Ministry Formation Internships. Herman is blessed with a loving family, including his wife Brandy, a fellow USAF veteran and Doctor of Strategic Leadership student, and their four children, Joy, Faith, and two married adult children. Together, “Team Baxter” is dedicated to serving Jesus Christ.
